Mint name in the center of a 5-vaned design, surrounded by the ruler’s titulature beginning with ‘al-Sulṭān / al-Aʿẓam / …’ (‘The supreme Sultan, …’ in Arabic). Rev. ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic); mint name in the center in a separate line under ‘Muḥammad’; on the four sides, the names of the four Rashidun Caliphs; traces of an illegible marginal legend. Album 2470. Rare. Areas of weakness and light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
